If The Obama Illusion Is The Best The Democrats Can Muster ? The Next President Is Mccain

Mutt has proudly announced his unequivocal support for the continuation of many of the disastrous George W. Bush polices - including the Iraq occupation which is sucking all the precious money out of the U.S. Treasury, desperately needed for America’s domestic programs already sacrificed for the past 6 years. No matter how you try to spin it ? America needs to fix itself at home FIRST and FOREMOST (or Iraq won’t matter at all) ? health care for all U.S. citizens, a predicable and stable economy, address straightaway the impacts of globalization that include stable domestic jobs growth and an immigration plan that really works, but which includes human compassion ? all of which the NeoCon Republicans have never got it!

Lets take off the political gloves here and really examine what will take place in the general election if Obama and McCain end up squaring off. It begins with the loaded cannon Michelle Obama, who is only proud of America if her husband becomes President ? the essence of her egregious statement of February 18, 2008.

What many na?ve Obama supporters don’t seem to realize is that a Presidential candidate is not like everyone else and therefore can NOT make or have someone as close as a spouse make statements such as she has made, NO matter how convincing at the time, as todays U.S. President must have the unquestionable confidence of the other world heads of state in order to effectively lead the free world? something the incompetent George W. Bush never understood or was capable of ? being a dignified world leader, instead of the laughing stock of the frat kegger party.

Obama has certainly exhibited contempt and pure disdain for anyone who questions his motives - past or present, as exhibited at the most recent Presidential debates toward the moderators who brought up questions that the voters have expressed bewilderment over. NO serious Presidential contender can gin up enough rational justification or simply try to just shoo away as insignificant tough debate questions that they simply don’t like or which don’t bode well for them. There is No question Obama is a non-conformist towards most traditional American conventions with his close association of the likes of Pastor Jeremiah Wright (whose very racial diatribes rail against America’s traditional values), and who creates the very racial divide that Dr. Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy and countless others who worked relentlessly hard to remedy and resolve over 35 years ago and NOW gets undone by the very race (Jeremiah Wright), it sought to make equal. Is the current race equity remedy today perfect- probably not… just like many things, but the race equality situation has had mutual and wide spread support for decades- unlike Jeremiah Wright’s perspective of a race crisis.

Do you see any difference in the message or style of Dr Martin Luther King and Pastor Jeremiah Wright? Do you see a great percentage of Caucasians marching in support of Martin Luther King? Do you see any reason why the message of Jeremiah Wright is questioned to not be of conventional American values? Do you see any (even one supporter), Caucasian in the audience of Jeremiah White. You decide what your own definition of racism is between the two videos. Racism is defined on a very personal level.

Then there is William Ayers, who was once part of the violent Weather Underground group of the 60’s ? 70’s and who declared, “I don’t regret setting bombs,” and “I feel we didn’t do enough,” even while seeming to dissociate himself coyly from the group’s most destructive acts.

How this seems to slip past many of Obama’s young supporters may be that the Weather Underground acts of William Ayers took place before many were born or who at least were NOT old enough to be responsible enough to be interpreting significant public events or political acts and who now may be jeopardizing America’s safe and secure future by voting on the basis of coolness popularity and rehearsed style over complex and sometimes contradicting substance decision making.

How many Obama supporters even know what the Weather Underground Organization was or have taken the necessary time to research the background of this clandestine and violent group. Is this ?The Change we can believe in? ? Intelligent people have to ask this question repeatedly over and over again. This is not the America in which Presidential candidates with such a flagrant and controversial past such as Obama are even seriously considered to be Presidential contenders, much less have such extraordinary blind support of their proposed non-existent policies. The policies that are known of Obama that have been forwarded for public scrutiny and that have been validly criticized by experts are - the Iraq troop withdraw timetable of 60 days that is unrealistic and Obama’s makeshift universal health care plan that leaves out 15+ million Americans ? that is NOT universal ! No big deal - until YOU lose your job and have no health care coverage! The inadequate and unaffordable health care coverage of U.S. citizens is a travesty and must end now. America is NOT a kingdom of kings and sharecroppers!

Almost everything else about how Obama intends to govern the United States is a pure mystery to most Americans, as well as how and what Obama’s policies are to lead America back to prosperity - unbelievably scary and undoubtedly, one of the biggest insults to democrats trying to choose an honest leader.
