The major worldwide athletic event of 2008 comes with four very distinct & complex perspectives, unfortunately. We intend to review daily from now till the end of the 2008 Olympics, these 4 Olympics perspectives: Sports (countries participating, athletes, athletic events & world records); Politics of human rights and worldwide boycott efforts, that just can’t be dismissed; Environmental greenhouse gases and the worldwide ozone impact; and Globalization, where the Chinese government is showcasing it economic capabilities to the world.
