Research our blog — nose around a lit­tle and get a feel for our edi­to­r­ial direc­tion and/​or news report­ing niche. 

Review our cat­e­gories. We like to expose lit­tle known facts in awe­some sto­ries that have the poten­tial of a broad reader inter­est, or large sto­ries that are only report­ing the same lit­tle syn­di­ca­tion news releases — which many news­pa­pers do, except the larger ones (New York Times, Wash­ing­ton Post, Chicago Tri­bune etc). Bring­ing some­thing new (no mat­ter how con­tro­ver­sial if it’s fac­tual), to the table is greatly encour­aged. Our pol­i­tics is mid­dle to left and we don’t nec­es­sar­ily fol­low a path of the sta­tus quo — but we are NOT cre­ators of con­spir­acy stories.

Keep your awe­some guest arti­cle post rel­e­vant to our blog, and the pre­vi­ously pub­lished arti­cles — but NOT lim­ited to them.

Credit your sources, pic­tures (if included), prop­erly to main­tain credibility

Affil­i­ate links within your sub­mit­ted arti­cle are NOT per­mit­ted and will be cause for refusal to pub­lish, or deletion.

No prod­uct reviews or bla­tant self pro­mo­tion is per­mit­ted, although links back to your site (if you have one), are OK!

Spell check and for­mat your guest blog post for easy visual read­ing ‘before’ it is sub­mit­ted — we’ll appre­ci­ate you much more for it !

When writ­ing your guest blog arti­cle, please speak in first per­son nar­ra­tive, just like the awe­some writer you are. Give your guest blog post some real ‘punch’ with sup­port­ing rel­e­vant data and a great com­mand of the Eng­lish lan­guage at a grade 12 or higher read­ing level.

Orig­i­nal arti­cle con­tent is required with the addi­tional require­ment that it has not been pre­vi­ously pub­lished elsewhere.

Sub­mit your guest post in rtf or txt file for­mat with HTML markup within the con­tent sub­mit­ted only. Microsoft DOC file for­mat will be rejected due to the tons of pro­pri­etary code that come with it

Any guest blog arti­cle accepted may be edited prior to pub­li­ca­tion for qual­ity of info value and/​or clar­ity. Please don’t be offended if we make edi­to­r­ial changes to improve your post. The goal sim­ply is qual­ity info, reader edu­ca­tion & increased read­er­ship.
